ACT Fire & Rescue, the ACT Ambulance Service, and ACT Policing are attending to a house fire on Ijong Street in Braddon.
The ACT Emergency Services Agency (ESA) issued a statement at 6.55am on Wednesday, September 10, advising the community of the fire. Emergency personnel were called to the scene just after 6.15am.
ACT ESA said that while the cause of the fire is still unknown, ACT Policing will be conducting an investigation into the matter.
Ijong Street is currently closed between Ipima Street and Henty Street. Emergency services have advised that smoke may be visible in the area.
The community is asked to avoid the area while emergency efforts are ongoing.
