LORAIN, Ohio (WJW) -- A Lorain City Schools bus carrying about 30 students was struck by a vehicle that ran a stop sign, according to a district spokesperson.

There were no reported injuries.

It happened just before 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 9, near the 100 block of West 18th Street, according to a release from the district.

A passenger vehicle reportedly ran the stop sign and struck bus No. 485 as it was crossing the intersection, according to the release.

Lorain police responded and checked out all the students "as a precaution." They were then transported home.
