A Mexican restaurant in Boston that was known in part for its entertainment has quietly shut down.

Bodega Canal near TD Garden has been marked as “currently closed” on the restaurant’s website , making the fate of the restaurant unclear.

A call placed to the restaurant Tuesday morning confirmed that it was closed. The representative directed people to Bodega’s website or social media for future updates.

It is unclear exactly when or why the establishment shuttered. The last social media post from Bodega Canal was on July 1, indicating the eatery would be closed during the July 4th holiday but reopen shortly after.
