NORTHGLENN, Colo. (KKTV) - Tuesday afternoon, the Northglenn Police Department (NPD) said officers are working to locate a kidnapping suspect.

Police said a male suspect had traveled to Northglenn to contact his ex-girlfriend overnight when a fight occurred.

According to NPD, witnesses reported that the suspect ”forcibly shoved" an adult woman into his vehicle and drove off.

As of 3:40 p.m., police said the vehicle associated with the incident, a gold 2000 Honda Civic with Colorado license plate DJCL79, has been located, but the suspect and victim were not inside.

NPD has not given a suspect description. If a suspect description is provided, it will be added to this article.
