The Chicago Bulls announced today that the team has re-signed guard Josh Giddey. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Giddey, 6-8, 214, was acquired by Chicago via trade from the Oklahoma City Thunder on June 21, 2024, and his 2024-25 season totals of 1,022 points, 566 rebounds and 503 assists made him one of three NBA players to reach such minimums last season (LeBron James, Nikola Jokic). Giddey averaged 14.6 points, a career-high 8.1 rebounds, a team-high 7.2 assists and a career-best 1.2 steals in 30.2 minutes over 70 games (69 starts) in his debut season with the Bulls, becoming the second Bulls player to ever average at least 14.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 7.0 assists in a single season (Michael Jordan).
