LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Above average temperatures return for most of the area Wednesday and continue into the weekend. Rain chances the rest of the week are mainly small. There is a better chance of showers and thunderstorms Sunday.

Areas of fog are possible Wednesday morning so be aware of reduced visibility when going to work or school. Otherwise, it should be partly to mostly cloudy to start the day. Late morning and afternoon will likely be mostly sunny to partly cloudy for most of the area. There is a 20% chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms in part of Southeastern Nebraska and Northeastern Kansas in the afternoon.
