Downed power lines block first responders from accessing apartment

CINCINNATI (WXIX) - A property owner in College Hill says downed wires prevented first responders and Rumpke from getting to the property.

The wires on North Bend Road are now in the process of being fixed, but it comes after Vickie Washington expressed her concerns on Facebook with a video.

“Look how low these are,” Washington pointed out in the video. “This makes zero sense to me. What am I supposed to do? Seriously, what am I supposed to do?”

Washington shared the video on Facebook on Sept. 5.

The video shows the moments when first responders had to park along North Bend Road while responding to a medical emergency at a nearby apartment complex.

Washington captured the video.
