The Issue: Charlotte politicians’ responses to a career criminal murdering Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska.

I am disgusted by the lack of outrage from Charlotte officials and left-wing politicians over the senseless murder of 23-year-old Iryna Zarutska by career criminal Decarlos Brown ( “Psycho free to ‘kill’ in NC,” Sept. 9).

Charlotte Mayor Vi Lyles went as far as saying we can’t arrest our way out of crime. She is an insult to the intelligence of the public.

The politicians who allowed this to happen by passing lax laws should all be fired for negligence and incompetence.
