Normally when I recommend a budget Android tablet to shoppers, I head straight for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9. Priced under £100, it's a perfectly capable and portable tablet for those who just want a device that gets the basics right.

However, if there's one area where it's lacking slightly, it's screen size. For shoppers who require a bit of a larger device to carry around in their bags, Samsung also makes a slightly bigger version, aptly dubbed the A9+ .

It's usually priced at £200, but Amazon has just dropped the price of the tablet by £50 . That takes it down to £149.99, a healthy saving for those in need of a new tablet.
