Parkview expanding no-cost genetic screening, research program to the public

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - Parkview is expanding its no-cost genetic screening program that supports community health research to the public.

DNA Insights is in partnership with Helix, the leading precision health organization, in an effort to help those who participate have a better understanding of their genetic health risks and contribute to the future of personalized health.

The program was previously available only to Parkview patients and co-workers. Now, it is open to all individuals age 18 or older with a Parkview MyChart account.

Parkview hopes to enroll 100,000 participants over the next five years, as part of the Helix Research Network.
