STOUGHTON, Wis. (WKOW) -- Cold and flu season is here, which for some people means a quick stop at the pharmacy to protect yourself.
People like Matt (who didn't want to share his last name), who visited the Walgreens in Stoughton over the weekend.
"I asked if they had the updated COVID vaccine," said Matt. "They said, 'we do.'"
But this year, it's not that easy.
Matt said the pharmacist told him he had to meet certain requirements to get the new COVID-19 vaccine.
But, this isn't a new Walgreens policy. Under Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s "Make America Healthy Again" movement, the Food and Drug Administration is limiting updated shots for people 65 and older or those with a high-risk health condition.
