PECATONICA, Ill (WTVO) — The Pec Playhouse theatre is getting close to finishing its campaign to renovate and expand its current location to build a theatre.

The current location is at 202 W. 3rd Street in downtown Pecatonica, and is primarily used for storage until the theatre is able to reach its goal.

"Our goal is 1.75 million; we are at 1.6 right now," stated board vice president Brian Pauley. "Everything we raise will go toward that in some form or another; it will all go into the building."

Thanks to two grants, one from Winnebago County totaling 150 thousand dollars and another from ComEd totaling 25 thousand dollars. With both grants spearheaded by the theatre board treasurer.
