DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - Some Quad City and Coal Valley area Geneseo Communications customers were experiencing an outage Tuesday afternoon.

At about 1 p.m., Geneseo Communications posted on Facebook that service was restored to Illinois customers.

Crews said they are still working on restoring service to Iowa customers.

Due to a fiber cut, the company said some Quad City and Coal Valley area customers may have an internet outage.

Geneseo Communications said technicians are working on the issue.
