U.S. Rep. Don Bacon (R-Neb.) heavily criticized President Donald Trump for his policy on Russia, saying on Monday that he is “even worse” than his predecessor.

Bacon, a frequent GOP critic of Trump, slammed the president for his stance on Russia and Ukraine in comments to CNN’s Manu Raju on Monday. His comments come as Congress waits for Trump’s support on a bill that would place sanctions on Russia.

“He’s been weak on Russia. I think he’s been good on Iran. I want to — I want to give kudos where they’re earned. I think he’s been great on Iran, but he has been terrible on Russia,“ Bacon said.
