BRADENTON, Fla. (WWSB) - This week’s ABC7 Athlete of the Week is Alyssa Eurice. She’s a senior and one of the star volleyball players of the Bradenton Christian School (BCS) Lady Panthers.

This team is out to a fantastic start to their season, including collecting a pair of wins over Venice and Cardinal Mooney. Alyssa says it helps that she and most of her teammates have been playing together and building chemistry for some years now.

“We do a lot of team bonding stuff,” Alyssa said. “I think we have a very strong connection on this team. I feel like we all get along very well. You make such good friends from this game, and then the energy when you win a big game is like no other sport, I feel.”
