COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) -- Georgia Lt. Gov. Burt Jones wants the voters of the state to promote him to the highest office.
Jones is running in the Republican Primary for governor to succeed Gov. Brian Kemp. The primary field right now includes Attorney General Chris Carr. Jones has a powerful ally in his bid for the governor's mansion -- President Donald Trump.
Jones has been in the Trump camp since 2016 and never wavered. Trump has endorsed the lieutenant governor in his bid for higher office.
Jones recently sat down with WRBL News 3 for a Sunday Conversation.
