EVERETT — The Arlington Police Department is investigating a stabbing that left one woman wounded Tuesday morning in Arlington.
Around 10:57 a.m. Tuesday, Arlington police responded to reports of a stabbing at the 4900 block of 168th Street. When they arrived, they found a woman who had been stabbed, according to an Arlington Police Department social media post .
Preliminary investigation indicated a verbal altercation between two women had escalated into a physical confrontation. A man intervened when he thought one of the women was potentially in danger, which resulted in the victim sustaining a stab wound from the other woman. The injury was classified as accidental, the post said.
