STODDARD COUNTY, Mo. (KFVS) - A man is facing a felony charge stemming from an attack over the weekend.

According to the Stoddard County Prosecuting Attorney‘s Office, Terry L. Beck was formally charged with first-degree domestic assault on Monday, September 8.

According to the probable cause statement, on Saturday, Sept. 6, Beck allegedly punched the victim in the face repeatedly and choked them, putting his hands around their neck.

The statement also noted that Beck had the intent of killing the victim.

If convicted, Beck faces 10 to 30 years, or life imprisonment in the Missouri Department of Corrections.

Beck is currently being held in the Stoddard County Jail without bond.
