CHICAGO, Illinois — Actress Jenna Fischer, best known for her role as Pam Beesly on NBC’s “The Office,” has returned to the stage in the world premiere of “Ashland Avenue” at Chicago’s Goodman Theatre, The Chicago Tribune reported .
The play, written by Fischer’s husband, Lee Kirk, marks the opening of the theater’s centennial season and runs through Sunday, Oct. 12, according to the Tribune.
Fischer, 50, portrayed Beesly from 2005 to 2013, a role that made her a household name. She began her career with smaller film and television appearances before landing supporting roles in films such as “Blades of Glory” and “Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story.”
