MUSCATINE, Iowa (KWQC) - If you’re looking along the Mississippi River this week, you may come across a pretty unique vessel.

Tuesday night, a piece of World War II history is expected to dock in Muscatine.

The U-S-S “L-S-T 325″ is the last fully operational WWII landing ship tank in the United States.

It’ll be in Muscatine as part of its 2025 tour though this week.

The community can take public tours of the 328-foot-long ship.

Tours will start Thursday and run through Monday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., according to event organizers. Admission is $20 for adults, $10 for kids ages six to 17-year-old, and kids five-years-old and under get in for free.
