Jalen Carter has been fined by the NFL for spitting on Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott.

But fortunately for the Eagles, the All-Pro defensive tackle has not been suspended by the league ahead of Sunday’s Super Bowl rematch against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Carter has incurred a hefty $57,222 fine for spitting on Prescott in last Thursday’s season opener against the Cowboys, according to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter .

Schefter also reported that the NFL said his ejection vs. the Cowboys acts as a one-game suspension.

“After talking to the Eagles, the NFL and the NFLPA, Jalen has decided not to appeal and focus on the Chiefs game,” Carter’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, told Schefter.
