Two Frederick City Council candidates who ran unopposed during the primary election on Tuesday have advanced to the November general election — Katie Nash in District 1 and César Díaz in District 2.

Nash had 63 votes and Díaz had 46 votes in their uncontested races as of about 10:30 p.m on Tuesday.
