CHEROKEE Co., Ala. ( WBRC ) - A law firm is investigating the off-roading crash that killed a mother and father and injured seven children during the Labor Day weekend in Piedmont.

The incident happened at Indian Mountain ATV Park in Piedmont on Saturday, Aug. 30.

Brandon Price-Crum with the Serious Injury Law Group is representing four of the seven surviving children, all of whom are out of the hospital recovering.

Though a lawsuit is not yet filed, they are working on it because they say this tragedy could’ve been prevented.

“This is a devastating incident that I don’t wish on anybody,” said the attorney. “No family should have to go through this. These children are now having to grow up - some of them without both parents.”

This one incident impacted several families.
