MURRAY, Utah (ABC4) — Multiple lanes are closed in Murray due to a crash near 5400 South and 1070 West.

According to Utah Department of Transportation, multiple lanes have been closed, and travelers should expect delays on State Route 173 due to a traffic accident.

All lanes and the right shoulder are currently blocked. Additionally, the exit ramp at 1070 West has been closed. Law enforcement is diverting traffic, according to UDOT.

Initial estimates indicate that these closures will be in place until 1:00 a.m. tomorrow, though that may be subject to change. In the meantime, travelers should avoid the area, if possible.

At this time, law enforcement has not confirmed additional details or disclosed any injuries.
