Roadside car sellers are set to continue to face a ban across Nuneaton and Bedworth . Back in 2022, the borough council brought in what is officially known as a Public Space Protect Order (PSPO), which bans vehicles being exposed for sale on ‘A’ and ‘B’ category roads, as well as some 'C' and 'D' roads across the two towns.

This came after what was described as main roads being 'blighted' by cars left dumped for sale. With the PSPO came the threat of a £1,000 fine if caught.

The order was only in place until March of this year and the Town Hall has said that, since that time, 22 complaints were made about the areas covered by the ban. Four other complaints were received about cars in areas not included in the order.
