MANCHESTER, N.H. —

Gov. Kelly Ayotte attended the first "New Hampshire Breakfast" in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Tuesday during a trade mission to Canada .

The trip included several meetings on economic development and tourism, with industries ranging from health and life sciences to ocean ventures and electronics.

The breakfast was sponsored by the Business and Industry Association of New Hampshire.

The mission will return on Thursday.
