One of the most notable moments came against Sacramento Kings star Domantas Sabonis. In the 2023 playoff series between the Warriors and Kings, the Warriors star stomped on Sabonis after Sabonis had grabbed hold of his leg.

Green recently revisited the moment during an appearance on Kai Cenat’s stream. Cenat showcased a reel of Green’s most controversial plays, which included the stomp incident. Without hesitation, Green shifted the blame to Sabonis while arguing that he only reacted to being grabbed.
