Bronson Battle Creek Hospital will conduct an emergency preparedness exercise on Friday, Sept. 12.

The drill will take place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the hospital, 300 North Ave., according to a community announcement.

The exercise will simulate a hazardous materials and mass casualty incident, testing multi-agency coordination and emergency response times.

Participating agencies include the Bronson Battle Creek Hospital, Battle Creek Fire Department, Battle Creek Police Department, Kellogg Community College, Marshall Area Fire Fighters Ambulance Authority and Region 5 Healthcare Coalition.
