Hilary Duff will chronicle her return to music with a new docuseries.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, the actress-singer posted three photos showing her in the recording studio with her husband, music producer Matthew Koma.

"New music... or something," she wrote in the caption.

A short time later, executives at Atlantic Records announced that Hilary had signed a deal to make new music and a docuseries.

Directed and produced by Sam Wrench, the project "will chronicle (Hilary's) long-awaited musical return and personal journey, offering an unfiltered vignette into (her) world".

"(Fans) will ride shotgun as she balances raising a family, recording new music, live show rehearsals, and preparing to perform on stage for the first time in over a decade," a press release reads.

The docuseries will feature performances, interviews, and footage from the Sparks hitmaker's personal archive.

Hilary unveiled her fifth studio album, Breathe In. Breathe Out., in 2015.

The 37-year-old has not yet announced when her new music will be released.
