Fremantle have made their first swing of the axe, just days after being eliminated from finals, with two young Dockers not being offered contracts for next season.

Uncapped duo Jack Delean and Odin Jones have been delisted in the wake of last weekend’s finals exit, the club has confirmed.

Delean leaves the Dockers after two seasons without playing a game, having been drafted with pick No.60 in the 2023 draft out of South Adelaide in the SANFL.

The 20-year-old forward led Peel Thunder’s goalkicking this season with 21 goals in 16 games, including a career-high five goals against Subiaco in round eight before finishing the season with two hauls of three goals.
