FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - We’re back to the 80s as the warming trend takes off for the rest of this week.

Skies stay partly to mostly sunny with dry conditions for Wednesday. Highs make it into the low 80s across 21Country. We’ll gradually make it into the mid 80s leading into the weekend. A stray shower or two is possible this weekend, but rain does not look to be long-lasting.

There’s still some uncertainty in the trends for next week. The extended data splits off with two solutions, one trending in a summery direction and another looking more seasonal. We’ll keep you updated on how this develops over the next few days.
