PORTSMOUTH - After a season-opening 2-1 win against Concord, the Portsmouth High School boys soccer team dropped a game to Nashua North, and then another to Nashua South.

Portsmouth head coach Eric Martens said the team wanted to put a 'tough week' behind them, and start to see growth and improvement, starting on Tuesday, Sept. 9 against Seacoast Division I rival Spaulding.

The Clippers put an end to their two-game losing streak, scored two goals in each half and rebounded with a 4-0 win over the Red Raiders at Tom Daubney Field.
