A former Pueblo firefighter's union secretary-treasurer has been sentenced to 60 days in jail and eight years of probation after pleading guilty to embezzling $131,000 of International Association of Firefighters Local 3 funds.

Doug Martin pleaded guilty in an agreement with the 10th Judicial District Attorney's Office to one count of theft, a Class 4 felony. He was originally charged with theft as a Class 3 felony.
