There are plenty of great high school athletes in Rhode Island who don't play in the Rhode Island Interscholastic League. Here's a look at several private school athletes who are expected to have solid seasons this fall.

Mount St. Charles

Devyn Phenix, Girls Cross Country, Senior

Phenix has shown consistent commitment and growth throughout her high school career. Last year, she helped lead the team to the SENE championship. As a captain this year, she sets the tone for the team with her strong leadership and ability to bring everyone together.

Cam Bedrossian, Girls Volleyball, Sophomore

Bedrossian was a star freshman middle hitter (125 kills, 28 blocks) for the Mount Saint Charles Prep Volleyball team last year. This fall, she will be holding down the middle hitter
