A broken water pipe has caused Philadelphia officials to postpone all cases scheduled for Wednesday at the Justice Juanita Kidd Stout Center for Criminal Justice in Center City.

Early Wednesday, court officials announced, in a statement, that the courthouse, located along the 1300 block of Filbert Street, would be closed "for the safety of the public and Court employees," due to a ruptured water pipe.

While officials did not provide further details on the incident or any potential damage that may have been caused by the broken pipe, they did say all other court buildings would remain open for the day.
