It's actually a bit silly just how well the state of Iowa will be represented at the Senior World Wrestling Championships in Croatia from Sept. 13-21.

Thirteen wrestlers will be competing who either wrestled for an Iowa college or are alums of an Iowa college. That includes seven Iowa Hawkeyes , two Iowa State Cyclones , one Northern Iowa Panther and three from William Penn University in Oskaloosa.

The headliner is three-time NCAA champion and Olympic silver medalist Spencer Lee, but there are plenty of other superstars from Iowa State's David Carr to the Iowa women's trio of Kennedy Blades, Kylie Welker and Macey Kilty.
