Democratic nominee Zohran Mamdani leads former Gov. Andrew Cuomo by 15 points in the New York City mayor’s race, according to a new poll released Wednesday.

The Emerson College/PIX11/The Hill survey shows Mamdani with 43% support among registered voters in the November election. Cuomo, running on the independent Fight and Deliver Party line, trails with 28%. Republican nominee Curtis Sliwa polls at 10% and incumbent Mayor Eric Adams stands at 8%. About 9% of voters remain undecided.

“In Emerson’s first general election poll of the New York City mayoral election, Mamdani starts with a 15-point lead over former Gov. Andrew Cuomo,” Spencer Kimball, executive director of Emerson College Polling, said in a statement.
