The top university wrestlers are returning to Northwestern Ontario, as Wrestling Canada Lutte, in partnership with USports and Lakehead University announced Tuesday that the 2026 University Championships will be held in Thunder Bay.

C.J. Sanders Fieldhouse will be the host venue for the meet set for Feb. 27-28. This marks the first time since 2011 that Lakehead and Thunder Bay will host these nationals.
