GREAT FALLS, Va. — A family-owned produce stand that has been in operation for nearly 40 years went up in flames late Tuesday.

Fairfax County Fire and Rescue responded to a building on fire at the 11110 block of Georgetown Pike in Great Falls which is the location of Krop's Crop produce stand. A Fairfax County Police helicopter first discovered the building on fire while returning from a call when they reported the fire to the county at 11:34 p.m. Tuesday.
