BRAINERD — A 42-year-old Onamia man was arrested Friday, Sept. 5, after he allegedly assaulted officers in Brainerd.

Landon Daniel Gray is charged with felony assault of a peace officer by transferring bodily fluids, and gross misdemeanor assault of a peace officer, damage to a public safety vehicle and driving while intoxicated.

Gray made his first appearance in Crow Wing County District Court on Monday, Sept. 8, and was assigned a public defender. According to Crow Wing County Jail’s in-custody listing, following his hearing on Monday, he is also being held as a fugitive from justice from Mobile County, Alabama.

He is due back in Crow Wing County District Court on Oct. 23.
