The Duluth City Council repealed an ordinance affecting transient hucksters. Under the repeal, hucksters would be required to pay a daily license fee of $10. Local farmers and merchants claim that farmers from the Twin Cities were entering the city and selling their leftover produce in competition with Duluth farmers.
