A Washington Township man charged after police allegedly found child pornography on his phone while they investigated a shooting this year at a Troy hospital has been ordered to stand trial.
Frederik Stolaj, 21, was bound over in Macomb County Circuit Court on Tuesday by a district court judge, Prosecutor Peter Lucido said.
His arraignment is scheduled for Sept. 29. The 21-year-old is free on a $100,000 cash bond and must wear a GPS tether, officials said. He is also banned from having any contact with anyone under 18.
Stolaj is charged with three counts of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material and three counts of using a computer to commit a crime. He was arraigned on the charges in July.
If convicted, he faces up to 10 years in prison for each count of aggravated
