DELAFIELD, Wis. (WFRV) - With the help of a drone unit and officers who spotted suspicious activity related to a retail theft in progress in southeastern Wisconsin, five suspects were arrested after fleeing a pursuit into a wooded area.

Officers with the Delafield Police Department say that around 7:30 p.m. on September 9, suspicious activity related to a possible retail theft in progress was spotted at a business on Golf Road.

When the alleged suspects saw the officers, they reportedly fled in two vehicles at a high rate of speed.

The two vehicles did not stop when officers tried to pull them over for 'dangerous driving' and 'suspicious activity.'
