Dramatic dashcam footage captured the moment a car went airborne and cleared several lanes of Sunrise Highway, one of the busiest freeways on Long Island, on September 3. According to local reports, the crash happened around 5 pm when a 70-year-old man driving south on Pine Acres Boulevard sped across a grassy embankment and launched off a hill, soaring over the highway.
