An Italian journalist, who drew widespread attention for her interview with “After the Hunt” stars Ayo Edebiri, Julia Roberts and Andrew Garfield, has finally addressed the controversial moment.

Following an interview for Italy's ArtsLife posted on Sept 5, journalist Federica Polidoro faced backlash after seemingly excluding Edebiri from a conversation around the #MeToo and Black Lives Matter movements in Hollywood.

During the interview, Polidoro called the movements “done” and solely asked Roberts and Garfield their thoughts on the future of political efforts in the entertainment industry. After appearing shocked at seemingly being ignored, Edebiri immediately piped in to answer the question.
