MISSOULA — Montana's new-look offensive line started on the right foot in the season opener over the weekend.

The Grizzlies put up 567 yards of offense, including 310 on the ground, in a 42-17 win over Central Washington on Saturday. They didn't allow a negative play aside from one sack, one intentional grounding and one kneel down.

Now comes a bigger test for the offensive line against North Dakota at 1 p.m. Saturday in Missoula. They go from facing an NCAA Division II team to squaring off against a squad from the Missouri Valley, which is well known for its elite trench warfare, as they'll have a chance to prove they're the real deal.

"I thought they were on target," Montana head coach Bobby Hauck said of his offensive line. "Thought their footwork was mostly good."
