St. Lawrence College has been recognized as a top performer when it comes to sustainability.

According to a news release from the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE), the school was ranked using its Sustainability Tracking, Assessment and Rating System (STARS).

STARS is a transparent, self-reporting framework for colleges and universities to measure their sustainability performance.

According to the organization, the reporting framework for colleges and universities measures and reports sustainability in 13 impact areas.
