Betsy's X Little Dessert Shop in Bore Street

A restaurant in the West Midlands has seen its licence suspended for two months due to public safety concerns.

Betsy's X Little Dessert Shop, located on Bore Street in Lichfield, had previously been permitted to operate until 2am on Friday and Saturday nights.

However, a public hearing held on 8 September revealed that issues relating to crime and disorder, public safety, and public nuisance had been raised.

The hearing was also informed that in May 2025, the establishment was raided by licensing officers and immigration enforcement officers who discovered eight staff members residing at the premises.
