BLUFFTON, S.C. (WTOC) - Bluffton Town Council Member Bridgette Frazier has filed a lawsuit against her town, police department, and several other parties following a 2024 traffic arrest.
Frazier and her husband, Warren Anthony Patterson, filed the suit on September 5 and listed the town, police department, Police Chief Joe Babkiewicz, her arresting officer from 2024, and the South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles (SCDMV).
She is suing them on 12 different claims, from false arrest and imprisonment to negligence by the arresting officer and higher-ups.
