Marcus Rashford bolstered his chances of playing for England in next summer's World Cup finals with a goal in the Three Lions' 5-0 drubbing of Serbia on Tuesday night.

England recorded their best win under Thomas Tuchel in Eastern Europe as they took a giant step towards confirming their spot in the World Cup. The win was their biggest win outside of England since their 10-0 victory against San Marino in November 2021.

Harry Kane, Noni Madueke, Ezri Konsa and Marc Guehi set England on their way to victory before Rashford made it 5-0 in the 90th minute. The goal was the 27-year-old's first goal for his country since October 2023.
